In 2006, The Discovery Channel spent six months at the UPMC ThomasE. Starzl Transplantation Institute. The crew spent time following three organtransplant candidates and their families as they navigated the trials andtribulations of organ donation. I am in awe of the bravery of these patients,and their surgeons, and entire transplant teams.
