Incline Communications was founded in 2019 and is based in Pittsburgh, PA.
Incline Communications believes that knowledge is power. Out of respect for those working toward making life better for others, our vision is to communicate the important work that is being done right here in Pittsburgh.
Maureen is a lifelong Pittsburgher. She is a graduate of Duquesne University, where she majored in Communications. After working as a broadcast news producer in Pittsburgh, and Washington, D.C., she made the leap to public relations.
Maureen has worked as a publicist at the two leading healthcare titans in Pittsburgh; UPMC and Highmark. She understands that the health and science research benefits mankind, and as such, needs to be communicated in a meaningful way. Pittsburgh is home to some of the most indelible contributions in modern medicine. In that same ethos of discovery and respect for medical research, she founded Incline Communications; communication for a higher purpose.
Working on the payer side, Maureen was lead editor of more than four member-facing newsletters among the Highmark portfolio. Maureen is well aware of the compliance approval process, including HIPAA privacy laws and CMS, and DHS oversight of member-facing materials.
On the provider side of the healthcare pendulum, Maureen has promoted the novel research programs and clinical services at both the University of Pittsburgh Schools of the Health Sciences and UPMC. Maureen has experience working through IRB reviews and handling sensitive embargoed news releases of research presented in JAMA and NEJM.
Whether you want to reach consumers, policymakers or healthcare providers, it’s crucial to leverage ‘influencers’ to convey your message.
We believe the foundation for a long‐term relationship is building an effective and integrated partnership.
