In a three-day series titled "Six Minutes to Live orDie," USA Today examined disparities in emergency medicalservices in 50 cities across the United States. An 18-month investigation byBob Davis revealed that about 1,000 lives are "needlessly lost eachyear" because of "inefficiencies" in emergency services,according to USA Today: Below is a link to the archived series.
