I have had the opportunity to work with Maureen for the past 9 years. During that time she has managed many projects, but most notably are her project management skills in the coordination of 5+ different newsletters, all deployed multiple times a year. Maureen developed timelines, coordinated content calendars and the gathering of articles from many different sources, and shared materials with vendors in an organized and concise way, always meeting her deadlines. It was a seamless process working with Maureen on multiple newsletters that many wouldn't be able to keep straight. 

Maureen has this special ability to weave facts about healthcare that most of us find boring into compelling, impactful stories. She understands the human connection each message she delivers must have and consistently nails it. In a world that seems increasingly indifferent and self-centered, Maureen’s ability to write what a company feels but is unable to effectively communicate is a game changer.

Maureen knows how to find good stories that reveal the complexities of health care delivery from every relevant perspective from institutional leadership to clinical staff, patients, their families, and the staff who file discharge paperwork. And although she could write a mean press release, her relationships with reporters and editors across the country often allowed her to pitch stories successfully with an email or phone call. She knew what to pitch, when, and who might have the biggest interest in her ideas. I'm glad to recommend Maureen as an experienced, effective health care communicator.
